Dr. Kamoru Adeleke Adigun, FCTI, FCA, FCNA, PHD, MIoD

Dr. Kamoru Adeleke Adigun, FCTI, FCA, FCNA, PHD, an accomplished and enterprising company executive, was born on 31^st October, 1963 in Ibadan to the family of Alhaji Badamosi Ola Adigun and Alhaja Umul Khair Olagbenjo Adigun of Oke-Ba’ale, Osogbo, Osun State.

He attended various Institutions amongst which are The Polytechnic, Ibadan and awarded Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, University of Ibadan for a degree of masters in Managerial Psychology and University of Liverpool, United Kingdom for a degree of masters in International Marketing. He also holds a Ph.D in Entrepreneurship from Atlantic International University, Honolulu. USA.

Dr. Adigun, a thoroughbred professional, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a fellow Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), a fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), member National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMARK), member Institute of Directors (MIoD) to mention just a few. He served the Chartered Institute Taxation in various capacities and rose to become the 8^th President and Chairman of Council of the Institute, he spiritedly and fearlessly defended the charter of the Institute in the National Assembly. Dr. Adigun’s contribution to the development of taxation profession in West Africa led to the formation of West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI), he contributed immensely to the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana’s attainment of her Charter by the parliament the Republic of Ghana, and this earned him an honorary fellowship (FCIT) award by the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG).

He started his career with Nigerian Agriculture and Co-operative Bank where he served the nation under the scheme of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) and was subsequently employed. He left bank to join the firm of Messrs Sulaimon & Co. internationally NEXIA (Chartered Accountants) for his articleship where he rose the position of a Audit Manager.

Dr. Adigun commenced his professional practice in 1994 under the trade name of Ayodele Adigun & Co. (Chartered Accountants) which later metamorphosed to Adigun, Idris, Bala & Co. (Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners). Fired by entrepreneurial spirit, he co-founded several Small and Medium Enterprises among which are:

• Universal Natural Beverages Limited (Bottlers of Paradise Water) Jos, the forth water bottling plant in Nigeria, as the founding Managing Director/CEO.
• Oxygen Manufacturing Company Limited (Producers of Industrial and Medical Gases) Kaduna, as Managing Director/CEO
• Air Re Nigeria Limited (Producers of Industrial Medical Gases) Suleja, Executive Chairman
• Malade Farms Limited, Suleja. Chairman
• Danaglobe International Limited (Hospital Equipment & Supplies), Chairman.

He is a board member of some private companies:

• OVH Energy Marketing Togo SA (formally OANDO Togo SA)
• Advancelink Petroleum Limited
• Emirate Consulting Limited

Dr. Adigun is a devout muslim and belong to Ansar –Udeen Society of Nigeria.

He is also a socialite and belong to several clubs and associations prominent amongst are:

• Amity Club of Nigeria, Abuja

Adigun is happily married to Alhaja Folashade Adigun and blessed with good children.
